Hussain Ali Yateem traveled to New York to visit the New York World's Fair and visited the “Carrier Igloo of Tomorrow”. Inside the Igloo and in the adjacent Hall of Weathermakers, guests learned the steps involved in air conditioning, toured a modern food store using Carrier refrigeration, and viewed an exhibit with Carrier self-contained air-conditioning. Mr Hussain was impressed with Carrier's newest air-conditioner.
Hussain Ali Yateem had a personal meeting with Willis Carrier and returned to Bahrain with the first Carrier-brand ice making machine in Bahrain.
